U tom autu se "direktor utrke" provoza prije utrke po stazi, da bi izvšio inspekciju dali je staza spremna za utrku. Do 2004 godine, ako se ne varam, i u Formuli 1 je postojao takav pristup, a kasnije je to zamjenjeno sve sa jednim automobilom. Odnosno Safety car je počeo obnašati obe dužnosti.
Trenutno, mislim da uz ovu formulu, director car još jedino ima motoGP, ali nisam siguran u to, nek me netko ispravi ako nisam upravu
Nije dovoljno da sam odgovorio osobno nego moram bas njemu posebno napisati sta tocno radi auto i vjerojatno uzeti izjave od Jean Todta i Alejandra Agaga da bi gospoda bila zadovoljna. Evo jedan bahati neuspjesni pozdrav iz Pekinga samo za doticnog.

Well, I used to work as an engineer for the national transmission system operator here in Denmark and I can tell you that the picture is not quite black and white as stated by Mark. One of the main issues with production of electricity is that we have no way of storing it efficiently. This means that electricity production (or the capacity for it) is often wasted. For instance, nuclear power plants cannot easily be adjusted and run more or less at the same level all the time. This means that in countries that rely heavily on nuclear power there is an excess of power at night when the consumption is lower, and since this power cannot be stored it is basically wasted. In Belgium they put street lights on their motorways just to burn this excess power. Another example is with windmills (which we have a lot of here). When it is really windy we often have to shut some of them down in order to not exceed the power demand. So we are paradoxically turning down free (to a degree) and clean energy.
In these cases electric cars have been suggested as one of the solutions. If we can set them to charge (using intelligent chargers) when we have this surplus, their energy consumption would be CO2 free (or at least CO2 cheap) as the electricity is either already being produced or available for free.
Of course, you will not always have this ideal situation and often their electricity will come from fossil fuels, but as I said, just wanted to explain that things are not black and white.
